unusual k ritter germany knife

Hi. New here and i realise this is not a WW2 item but was produced in Germany. Was looking for any help as to possible date and what this may hve been produced for i.e tourism etc.

I would guess, going by the styling, that it dates from the 1950's or early 1960's.

Ade is correct.

Many knives like these were imported to North America during that time.
They are generally considered Camp, Scout or Hunting knives..........
