Any difference between the black and green versions of this dagger or is it similar to the black and midnight blue NSFK daggers that are the same?

William -- there is no black customs dagger - You may be talking about the blue leather covered(Gilt fittings) Water Customs dagger - somtimes show up darker when pictured.

correct. So deep blue is water and green is land, correct? I take it the land is more scarce?

Actually the "Water Customs" is rarer than the "Land Customs" also the Water Customs is repo,ed alot and one really needs to know what there looking at.

Yes, blue leather wrap is for Water Customs and green leather wrap is for Land customs.

A great looking dagger. I picked up a Custom Officers tunic, cap and brocade belt a few years ago and have wanted to add a dagger. Hard to find in this condition and the right price.
