The bayonet/dagger is all matching and it has quite the story behind it. It was picked up by an American GI so being from an area that was Russian controlled , he must of got lucky?
He claimed it was from an Officer who surrendered to him from a signals regiment. Maybe the officer was a former policeman or something along those lines? His name the Vet, William E. McKinzie.

I would LOVE to purchase it, but sadly i cannot afford it, let alone a black wound badge at the moment
