Welcome to the forum. A great start would be to post some detailed photo's of the dagger and post them here.
There are some resident experts here that could give you their opinion on the dagger.
Then you could post it in the classifieds on this site to sell.

Welcome to the Forum Moppy. I personally have not seen the DRK Enlisted Man's Hewer without the snubbed / blunted blade end. Due to Geneva Convention Rules I believe they were all blunted. We would like to see pictures of it for sure. As AZPhil Stated the Classifieds here are good place to sell your militaria items to fellow collectors who will appreciate them.
