'went to this one at the weekend. It's based just outside Windsor and was the work of the collector, dealer and "character" Tony Oliver. Tony sadly left us 2-3 years ago but his collection is open occasionally thanks to his family and as I found it's well worth a visit. It's basically a collection of bits of everything..and there's a lot of everythings!....uniforms, vehicles, helmets, badges, bikes, signs etc etc

Tony's vehicle collection featured in many movies and TV progs (and still does)......if you've got a couple of hours free and you're in the Windsor area you may like it...but check the web site for dates.......it's certainly fun trying to remember where you saw that Staff Car....or German Truck (but remember...some are "movie pieces"...like Grubers "little tank"!)

Finally, I'm sorry about photo quality - I was phone-reliant......here's a few pics for those of you who're interested

....it's quite compact....and quite a way from Merseyside...and it ain't open every day (so check)...but if you're in the area / passing it's worth a look - it's quite an ecclectic mix.......
