I am considering attending the Kassel show this November. Would anyone know the dates,have hotel recommendations and any tips relating to attending they would like to pass on.

Google for Waffenbörse Kassel 2015 and you might find some answers!
Hi Robin,
You really need to be there prior to the opening to the public. You can get VIP passes for this, and they were around 70 Euro's last I heard but may have gone up this year. If you wait until the 27th November opening day for the public all the good stuff will already be gone, snapped up by the dealers and other VIP ticket holders.

There are cards for Aussteller (exhibitors), valid for the entire show. They
include the name of the exhibitor and its position at the show;
there do exist also the VIP-Karte, which are most often valid for the day of the
visit. They do have a stamp and the position at the show from the dealer.
For many years I get such VIP-Karte every year from dealer-friends! For free.
Hope I am able to attend this year on Saterday with two of my best friends.
My luck is that I am not a collector and so for me a special day is not important.
I just visit good, old friends there. Some I meet even since the mid-seventies
(first at Stuttgart and Dortmund). For me the important shows!
PS: I just heard that VIP-cards are difficult to get, anyway this year (not every
dealer is getting them apparently. Reasons: I do not know)!

Dachau is not quite in Nurnberg, old boy!
Isn't the distance between Kassel en Nürnberg about 305-310 km
and from there to Dachau another 165 or so about?
It was when I last visited 4 years ago.
