Today's militaria and arms fair pickups
I went to a militaria and arms fair for today near Gardermoen airport, Oslo, Norway. The fair was a lot larger this year than before with many interesting objects, plenty of heavy machine guns and rare WW2 weapons this time(Unfortunately out of my price range).
Please note: You are not allowed to take pictures of the fair itself.
This is what I decided to drag home with me:
Mosin Nagant, not in the best of condition, but I really liked the look of it, plus, it was quite cheap(Details will be in a different thread:
British No.36 Grenade, 43' example:
Holster for the Norwegian "Kongsberg colt":
Norwegian m/1914 gaiters:
Norwegian m/1914 foot cloth(Instead of socks):
Best Regards

'Nade, holster and leggings are cool. The foot wraps must be hard to find. They look like good wipe up cloths. Rich A. in Pa.

Re: Today's militaria and arms fair pickups
Thanks Rich, the foot wraps I don't think are that hard to find, not if you try to look for them. They were produced and used before the war, but they were also used a lot post-war. One of the foot wraps are marked L.F= Luftforsvaret(Airforce). When my dad saw them he said "Oh yeah, I remember these ones, we used them when I was in the army", he was in the army in the 1960s.
I am not sure, but I may have seen them at a military surplus store a while back, but I think they were sold as wipe up cloths then.
Best Regards
