i would love to say im 100% certain this was an untouched example but i have doubts over the exterior paint finish and as for the star stencil i know how easily they can be replicated also the liner string seems a latter addition ,im really hoping i will be proved wrong ,regards james

These kinds of fake SSh-39 helmets have been surfacing up lately. The painted star on the front is very crude in detail and the fake helmets always have the same type of size/date stamp. Also the rivets seem to be too large for a SSh-39.
is the shell a reworked czech vz 53 ?
