    Default Air Force Pilotka markings

Hello, I have an Air Force pilotka that is the same as this one in construction and has the same stamps. I want to know if this is a known stamp or if this is a reproduction. I have never seen yellow stamps on other items but it makes sense as the lining is so dark.

    Default Known fake?

Is it a known fake? It seems odd to me but I know little about the Air Force markings.

I've never seen markings specifically designed for Air Force equipment and I don't believe that ever existed. The one showed in your pilotka is a control mark (bpakep), and it's a fake in my opinion.

I don't know if this is a common reproduction, but in my opinion the entire pilotka is wrong (fabric, marking, piping and star).

Also, be careful with these things: a pilotka for an Air Force Commander is really rare.

Thank you. I had thought the double twill would be correct for pre-war but have never seen one in hand. I appreciate your response!

How much did you pay for it?

It was part of a lot that I bought. Some reproduction items and some original. It has been in the Boeing air museum for the last few years, perhaps a decade.
