General's Cap

I have this cap in my collection for about 20 years. It was acquired in Germany.

There is quite a difference between this one - the cockarde & embroidery especially - and the "100% authentic" examples one sees being pushed out there in the collectors market...

Richie..is it possible to get an approximate date on this cap based on its various features?

Engeneering or comissariat corps till 1950's

I believe it is Model of 1943 - General of Infantry Technical (Engineers) - Vintage; Most likely late 1940X thru early 1950X...

This is a very rare M1943 General cap for Army Administration, not Eng. Very rare. It is war period.
