In my opinion, not a genuine specimen.
As you noted, the paint on the shell is off. Also, the star appears to be an artificially aged sheet steel reproduction type that has been around for years.

You seem to be on a roll with Adrian helmets haha! In my opinion, not genuine. The paint doesn't look right - check out the last picture you posted, it seems like the "fresh" green paint has been sanded down to look old.
