Article about: Hy there, I am about to purchase this helmet but first I want to know some extra info about it. I have never seen this type of liner before, can you help me with it? Thanks.

    the helmet looks like a HUNGARIAN M50 [post war copy of the Russian Ssh40]

    looks like somebody punched a hole in the top?

    judging by the D shaped loops for the leather chin strap and the liner material, it's most likely a post WWII copy made by the Hungarians in the 1950's
