My new complete SSH-40

here is my new SSH-40 helmet that is dated to 42 or 52 made by ZKO
It have the size 2 and the Lotnumber 2--3220
I had buyed the helmet very ceap on the german Ebay Kleinanzeigen for 16€
I am not an complete expert on this wonderful helmets and want your opinion to this wonderful example
I hope the pictures were good
Im thankful for all informations and post ,because i want expand my Knowledge

Indeed a postwar, 1953 dated helmet.

Appears to have had an external re-paint.
Very tidy example.

Often these helmets are new never used

Near where the chinstraps are connected to the helmet there is indeed other paint. However, as Dom mentioned many of these are all brand new never used.

During long-term storage, the helmets were cleaned from spot corrosion and painted stained on the helmet.

these trace of paint were usualy done to prevent corosion.
We can also find them on other piece of stored equipements
