Hi Phil, Nice cap but they do tend to look a bit over the top especially when worn by a short guy!! My own theory is that the generals and marshals wore large caps to keep their shiney shoulder boards dry in the Siberian snow and rain?? Just a theory!! What other treats do you have in store for us all to view. No naked Russian ladies please!!
Cheers Michael R

My other treats, if you want to see them, include non-visor hats, uniforms and some badges and medals and a large soviet velvet flag.

You can post them all in separate threads by category Phil, if you wish.
I would think that all would be interested in seeing them...
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!

Hi Phil, Thank you for your posts!!! We are like children looking through the window of a toy shop or the toy section in a sales catalogue. Richie is spot on, it is good to both see and talk about each others "Stuff". It matters not how many times you may see the same or similar items, it is still nice to see and compare!! An analogy that I would draw is mens magazines. You see one naked lady, you have seen them all as they are all basically identical however, it is still nice to look at the variations. I like variations (of any kind).
Regards again Michael R
