UPDATE! Because the pics loader was making trouble, the rest of the pics can be found further down.

A Ssh39 with an unusual chinstrap. I never encountered such a CS before. A sort of rubberized material on canvas. This 39 have a Red Star with hammer and sickle as you can see. I managed to take some pics under the liner as well. The stamp is very hard to read, but the year is "40г" i am sure. Comments and opinions are most welcome guys

there is a problem with the photo, they are not visible.

You expect that another stamp than "4 .. г " Are there any helmet Ssh39 with dates later? Helmets reconditioned after wars? Maybe this was there a link with the postwar color ?

    thanks for your answer.

Seems to work. More stamps. It was really hard to do pics of the stamps because they are placed under the liner. Having the helmet in hand i am sure it's a "40г" stamps. On top "2A"

Maybe too much vodka and too much air bombing What about the red liner? I never had a helmet with this type of liner before. I agree on the repair. It looks much like the Ssh36 rivets i have posted here: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/headg...h-36-a-280766/
