Hello,
Today I visited a fair and bought this Ushanka cap for my collection.
It's a worn example with some repairs. Inside is some sort of inventory tag.
Allegedly (according to the seller) the cap came originally from a museum in Minsk.
Compared to the other two ushankas that I own, the 'fur' on this cap is thinner, and the front flap is more squared. This puzzles me a bit.
The size is really small, ie. for a modern 12 year old child.
I'd love to hear the opinions of the experts.
Best regards, Bjorn
