It's a Czech, not Russian.
As stated, it's a Chech vz53 helmet, late issue as identified by the chin strap. Soviet helmets do not use the German style liners, most variations have 3 or 4 pads, depending on the model #.

just to clarify further this is the model 53/80 its essentially the vz53 shell but with a 4 point nylon chinstrap offering greater stability i i cant tell from the pics but it should have a small leather chinstrap ,cheers james
