The star may have been added or changed it is not a problem, the fabric is in conformity and stamp of the Kharkov factory of headgear is absolutely authentic for me (Kharkov is invaded in October 41 and released in August 1943).
Faked a Pilotka dated 1940 to sell 150 euro makes no sense.
Besides a high price is not a guarantee of authenticity, there is that the piece to look out .

Original and nice star , normally you need a 24 mm one part
for example
