The pilotka is postwar .

Piping was meant for officers. EM and NCO's wore the pilotka without piping in the edges.by nikolamontemorra
of course, but on site was sold as ww2!
I suppose Nikola refers to the welt in the peaked cap: My opinion is that this is just a manufacturer's variation.
Also the fabric of the cap looks like the two tone lightweight cotton found in post war other ranks uniforms.
