None of the SSch-36 helmets you pictured are painted in the "original" color. The original color is a very dark, almost black green. That is not to say that they were not re-painted by the Soviets. Many of the very early model 36 helmets had a liner that failed, as the stitching rotted from sweat. When the shells were taken in for refit, to the later style of liner, they may have been repainted, as by that time the color scheme for helmets had changed, however, all of these look to be in the post 43 medium green color, not the post 1939 moss green color.

This helmet is exact same color as seen dated 1940 year
