    Welcome to the forum!

It is a very nice helmet. Great example.

    Cheers, Ade.
I concur... I would be more than happy to have it in my collection.

Michael, we are speaking about the fair collector's prices. Not as highest, which is overloaded by some of the dealers. ( even they sell them a long time), I've bought myself a good one here for approx 300 USD. We are not a "top-cock" shop, but the place where you can find as the collector something nice for reasonable price, why we create the "for sale" section

Dimas makes a valid point. To clarify, the price range I mention would probably be absolute top dollar and would be highly dependent on overall condition.

The SSh 39 in such condition is as rare as Waffen SS helmet so the price could be similar.

    Hello
I want to thank you all for quick reply.
The liner seems to be made of white leather, may seem a bit impractical . Is it true that they removed the star in front because it was a easy target for snipers?

Ultimately, the BLACK lid... Painted BLACK inside and out BEFORE the liner was installed...

There are no common-type ink markings...

There exists remnants of some kind of red painted whatsit on the front...

Museum quality thread, but anyway, is this similiar Ssh39? Or postwar painted? First I thought it might be Luftschutz, but compared to another Luftschutz 39 that i have in my collection that semirelic looks pretty different.
