Hello Gent's,
Here is a link to a (IMO) great site. It's mainly focused on caps, visors etc. Very useful for reference. Maybe sticky "worthy"?

Great website that has been around since the beginning of Western interest in Soviet militaria that is still updated on occasion.
Whilst not one hundred percent accurate, one must appreciate the passion of the collector/webmaster who must have spent a great amount of time researching and creating/maintaining it.

Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
Anyway i think it deserved a post and a link here
Cheers
I too am familiar with this site. It's a very good reference, and I plan on using it whenever I find the chance to purchase.
Great site! I remember when I got my first visor and checking the site for info on it.
Yes it's a pretty good site and the guy that made it also a good guy as far as i know
Regards, Lars
I have contacted the webmaster multiple times and he is a very nice and helpful man, he knows a lot of stuff is always ready to help.
I agree, he has a terrific site (and one I would emulate if I ever got around to doing one on German visors).
He also has published a nice reference book on Soviet visor makers/markings (available through his site here):
Under the Red Star; understanding the uniform visor caps of the Soviet Army, Navy, Air Force, security forces and civilian agencies of the Cold War
“Show me the regulation, and I’ll show you the exception.”
Great site which I often use!
