I have this one on the way to me, I know it's not war time or anything but wondered if anyone could provide any details on it in terms of approx year, civilian make ? etc....
I mainly bought it for it's Red Army GPW vibe. Thanks

Looks like a modern souvenir one to me.
Thanks for reply !
I'm sure it is, Seller mentioned it's from 1980's I have seen now.
It was the closest I could find to the look of specific war time examples with the exception of my Bulgarian Ushanka, It is extremely hard to find one in this style where I live.
It will look nice displayed with my Mosin PU Snipers
Cheers
Could you add the pics again please via the forum uploader. Thanks.

Why were the images removed in the first place?
Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam!
At a guess and given the post by Ade above I imagine they were posted using an image host site. This is absolutely no good for forum purposes as the images will not remain on the host site indefinately and when they disappear from the host site they will disappear from the forum too thus making the entire thread useless to anyone referring back to it.
Just a thought.

Always a shame to see this when people link to pics, get their answer and then take the pics with them.

Whatever its just an opinion.
Fellas, let me apologize !
I took them off to free up space as I have a bad habit of it.
I didn't mean to be the kind of guy that annoys even my self..... Here they are again
Auction I got it at is below, He says made in 1980 which I noticed this afternoon.
I think it's a decent piece for display even though it being a complete repro. I really liked the vibe I got from it. Cost me the same as my Bulgarian models.
Soviet Field Ushanka of Times USSR WW2 Type Very RARE Size 57 58 | eBay
Thank you.
It looks the part.
Cheers, Ade.

Yes it does and knowing in the first instance that it is repro rather than finding out when you thought it was original makes it a pleasing "display" piece. For not much money a WWII cap badge would be a nice addition and if you let it get just a little beat up and grubby it really would look right on display.
