Wartime ssh40 with parade star?

Hello,

I recently saw this helmet for sale, someone could help me to estimate when it was made?

Overall it convices me: the colour of the interior, chinstrap and pads looks good. I'm not sure about the style of the engraved serial, but it looks quite crude, so i think it could be another sign of wartime production.

I'm a bit confused when i see this painted stars, but i already saw different wartime ssh40 (all Lmz late war made) with the same pattern (red with white border).

No readable markings unfortunately, but i think there's sign of a stamp. I can read a 4 and maybe another letter, and it seems there is the shadow of a rectangle...But maybe it's just my imagination ;D

Could be a wartime helmet with late war - early postwar parade star?

The absolute majority of Russian wartime SSH-40 helmets were repaired at the LMZ plant in 1948-1950. They put stamps with the letter "P". By the size of the place where the paint is scraped in shell, it is for this stamp that is suitable.
