    Chaps,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but does anyone know where I can lay my hands on an original Beskozirka? I'm wanting to put together a VMF uniform and would ideally like at least ONE piece of original kit.

    Any ideas?

    Best Wishes.

    Unfortunately, a very tough find.

As this will be my first piece of Soviet Uniform, I've been researching it and have come to realise this, but I am prepared to wait!

Is there any places I can start looking?

Examples dating from the 1950s are far less expensive and a lot easier to find. Additionally, they look the same - except the fonts on the tally are noticeably smaller.

How much would one expect to pay for at least a post war example in reasonable condition?

I have not bought one in a while, but in my opinion a nice early 50X example might fetch $75.00 to $150.00 US. Perhaps even more...

Thank you. I have seen a 1961 dated WW2 pattern for sale here but it IS rather pricey at £195!!
