    Karakul sheepskin helmet in mass production? Then the buttons and clasps would make of gold, or at least silver. USSR - a rich country!!!
    In the USSR, the dog fur was considered most suitable for flight uniforms from his existing undercoat. It was only in the early 1960s, began to be used sheep fur. And it is mainly due to economic reasons.

    There are post war , not because vent or no vent, because the type of rubber, white rubber = nautral rubber = war time / Grey rubber = synthetic rubber = post war.

    The vent model are specific pilote, those without vents are for motorized unity, but you can find no vents model use by pilote.
