I've got the Baldwin book, but would like the others. Whatever I've collected always appreciated good reference books. Thankfully I kept all my books when my collection went, including all my early german language Ludwig Baer helmet books... :-)

Is that a PDF if the hard to find books available???

Some books have gone up in value more than the items. I have seen the first editions of the Baer book bring $150-200 on eBay.

Another excellent buckle book is the French language book Gott mit Uns by Castilla. I wish they would come out with an English version.

Books are good Lenny for home reference but the forums have a fantastic wealth of knowledge on them and probably a bit more up to date than the books

Oh agreed totally, I do like a good book though.... If I'm honest I'm liking this forum better than a few other forums I used to frequent, really good friendly atmosphere. I'm thinking it's going to be my "home" forum from now on. Still ploughinh my way through all the areas though....

Yes indeedy, loving getting stuck back in though. I'm sitting on 13 buckles, 5 with belts so chuffed after a few weeks of collecting again....
