This belt looks like it is marked FREBERG 1941 and on the hook that attaches to buckle there is a mark that I think is SG or SC with what looks to be a tree between the letters? Cannot get a good picture of that. Any info. appreciated.

Pics not great but to answer your question yes it is german and original, the S&C on the hook stands for Schmole & Comp, they made the metal work, the other maker made the leather

Take another look at the maker`s name,I have a listing for ...STECHER...FREIBERG...in that time period......Pete.
