Long time coming! NPEA Studentbund buckle

Hey gang! Well, I was finally able to locate a NSDStB / N.P.E.A buckle! It's been a long time coming but I'm very excited to have this one added to the collection. Just showed up here today and I'm quite happy with it! Sieper manufactured and in great condition. (Only R.S.S. had the contract to manufacture these buckles).

SO - I thought I would take some pics and put 'em up to share!

Your long wait has been very worthwhile.

A quite superb example of the NS-Studentenbund buckle.

As you say, only found by one maker (R S u. S), although there are two minor variants.

A great buckle !

Thanks guys! Really hard to believe that it's taken so long. These are rare - but how rare are they? I think the problem is that the collectors who do have these buckles just aren't selling them. They have a very unique look to them and are quite attractive...Collectors perhaps just hang onto them. That and the fact that they are not common makes them hard to find/acquire!
