Original belt?

Hi guys,

I am pretty sure that this is original, but I just wanted to make sure. I received this as a gift from a friend of mine. He said that is had a green Heer maker-marked buckle on it that he traded to a collector for a pair of boots years ago. Unfortunate, yes, but at least the belt isn't in the trash!

Any opinions are welcome.

Steve, unfortunately my buddy traded the buckle years ago for a pair of boots. He came upon the belt by accident and he didn't know what he had. For now, I have an SS buckle that looks great on it.

The original was supposedly a Heer buckle that was maker marked and "had a pristine coat of green paint on it".

Shouldn't be hard to find one - or just keep the SS one on it.........!

That's a beauty you've got there Steve. You're right, it shouldn't be too hard, but it saddens me to know that the buckle that belonged on this belt is out there somewhere. He traded it to a Heer reenactor of all people so for all we know it could be long gone!
