    Default Some new buckles

    Hello,

here are three new buckle for my collection. I don´t know if the firefighter-buckle pre or post war? The material is steel/ nickel-plated. What is your opinions about it?

The WW1 bavaria-buckle looks good to me, but I´m not 100% sure.

The last one is a very nice SA-buckle, in very good condition

    Best,
    Sascha

    Hi Sascha,

Three really lovely buckles. The Bavarian is a beauty - the box is a well-known private purchase configuration and those solder spots absolutely scream at you "original"! With a Bavarian, there should be no worries about a copy face plate married to an original box either.

The Feuerwehr is really interesting in that the box is steel. Could be either pre or post war of course. Pity the pin shroud is so rusted.

    Thanks for showing!

    Best, Kurt

    Hi David,
thats a complicated question for me, brass nickel plated or brass chrome-plated? Where are the differences, optically? The maker must be Richard Sieper & Söhne, like some collectorfriends tell.

    Sascha

I wonder if your SA is the same as the one attached ? The eagle displays a very distinct head and beak.

Marked RZM 50 - for Sieper - as you have suggested !

    Regards,

    David
