    David!
Again and again, skull heads on buckles are frenetic popular! I like them also wich you can recognize by my avatar.

All in all a super selection of skull head buckles that you have shown. Apart from the Wehrwolf all of them can not be referred to a particular organisation although period made in my eyes.
But the last one (prussian skull type) is from time to time available at Ebay Germany and I fear the seller is not a trustworthy chap. If you ask me, I would say this particular bucke is a fake/ fantasy item.

David, some super buckles, any idea of the M&G maker? that would be interesting to know. Also probably the earliest ST&L buckle I have ever seen

I agree with almost everything that you say. The "eBay.de Totenkopf" buckle is indeed highly suspect, although I am not 100% sure as to whether it is pre or post 1945. As you quite rightly suggest, it is likely a fantasy item appealing to those with a penchant for the deaths head emblem and which the fabricator knows, always sells well. Excellent market research on the fabricators part though !!

Sorry, however I do not have a clue who M & G is or was.

    Regards,

    David
