Hello,
I have this belt with brass buckle. I think it is German, but is it TR or pre TR period???
Buckle is 63 x 42 mm and belt is 42 mm. There is no visiable marks...
Please for your opinions.

Hard to tell, as it's missing it's central element.

Strange box to be honest, with a single solder point and them rough cut prongs I would have said a fake but then why fake something thats worth nothing?
Ben
Yes, I known....
But, maybe with measures and way of buttoning (closure)....
Hello,
agree with Ben . Older well worn post war box .
Typical prongs and ears for post war buckles ..

I'm searching for
Buckles 3.Reich
special SA/NSKK/NSFK with maker marks
Link to my collection : http://www.warrelics.eu/forum/album.php?albumid=1175
Then, I hoped pre war .......
Anyway, thanks for fast infos!
I've got one exactly the same, from a purely logical point, I'd say it's not fake, maybe post war but not fake. There obviously has been a roundel at one time, and as it's been removed then that points to possibly wanting to hide a post war roundel? Or ????
There are certain buckles that have a single solder point isn't there? maybe not in this configuration but it did happen...
Holy thread resurrection Batman, just flicking through Angolia, page 174 shows an SA buckle, box similar with single hole and soldered split pin....
???????
Lenny there are mistakes in the Angolia book, Nash book, cracking references but not all correct
