Hi, and welcome to the forum.
It appears like it may be a home-made job or a rework, possibly made from
a long gun or shotgun. The stock is rather bulbous and the trigger guard
and ramrod are much thinner than one would expect from
a factory or gunsmith.
Just a guess.........

Hi,the only listing I have for VB is Vincenzo Bernardelli of Brescia Italy who started producing pistols somewhere around 1865......Pete.

VB is also Vivien Buissere,maker of grenades during WW1.
This particular pistol looks also to me like a unique model.
