Here's my 7mm Mauser/Loewe 1895 Short Rifle, made in Berlin for export to the Chilean Army...I picked it up from a dealer in Colorado for $350 last year. It's perfectly functional and was sent through the regular mail, and there was no FFL Paperwork involved as it is classified by the ATF as a Pre-1899 Antique...
Proud to own a rifle by such a renowned maker...These rifles were built to last and are still as effective now as they were in the Boer War, where the British suffered heavily due to this weapon in the hands of skilled Boer marksmen...
cheers, Glenn
Posted previously, but here is my Mauser Verguiero M1904 in 6.5mm, an elegant well made piece.
