    Bill,

Thanks again, I will let you know when it arrives. Yes, Vollmer is a common name in Germany, my ancestors are from there. Thanks for the information. I will post some photos of the replica holster in case anyone else is looking for one, also you can let me know if it resembles the original….they said it does.

    Bill,

As you can see from the photos I received the stripper clip, thank you very much and for the other information. I would like your opinion on the replica holster. The date on the holster is 1915 which indicates the “original” manufactured date that would have been on the holster. The craftsmanship is very good! Now I am looking for a replica belt with a replica buckle of the same time frame 1915 that may have been issued with this holster. Or a replica belt that may have been issued to the German Army with this weapon after 1938 which would be more appropriate, any suggestions?

    Thanks again,

    Kris

Kris, You will want a German enlisted Police belt buckle... The holster looks great and would also be carried by the Germans Police in WW2...BILL

    Bill,

Thanks for the information on the buckle, any ideas on where I can locate one, either a replica or original? I will make a donation to this site for your generosity, if it hadn’t been for this site and your help I wouldn’t know any more about the pistol my Father left me than the day I received it, thanks again.
