1972 Colt Commander 45acp,nickel finish my son picked up

This is a 70 series colt 45 my son picked up for 600.00 with satin nickel finish,has some wear usage but not altered like many were.I think he did ok,what do you guys think?He just wanted an unmessed with example,most of these had grips,sights,trigger,tang etc. changed out,my brother did that to his years ago,he also polished off all the factory matt to make it shine,he wishes now he had left it alone after seeing the prices today on these !

Good price for a Colt. Have not priced the Commander on Gunbroker but sure they are higher. Matter of fact any Colt seems like they are commanding good money. Just look at Pythons!!

These satin nickel ones from the 70s are pretty desirable.Its a 70s series,has ring hammer and steel trigger,the 80s series colts had a polymer trigger and some other parts,and some other changes were made.
