3rd New Addition My Chassepot

[Paratrooper]

This is the od one out as I don't really collect French weapons.
Normally find them in better condition ..Never been fired dropped only once!

This is a Chassepot with its quirky cocking and loading procedure.
Cock the cocking piece first with the thumb then open the bolt.
Th Gras improved on this by just turning the bolt.

Have to get thet paint off though.
