Thanks Phil. At the time, we had to present 'restricted' firearms to the
police so they could verify serials etc, and when I went into the office
at the station, there was the same model in mint condition on a
cabinet behind the desk - with two extra mags and a zippered
soft case. An officer there was getting married and needed
dough. He was selling it for $100 less than I paid.........!

I always loved the look of a SAA, owned one a Ruger black hawk years ago in .357 mag. I couldn’t hit the sky with it if I shot it up on the air. The one time my dad shot it he hit all the shots in a pie plate at 25 yds. Wish I still owned. It.
