That is not a Soviet box, I think it's Bulgarian, at list it says ГЕРМУКУПОРКА ( hermetic pack) .

Be careful while using socialist made rounds against commies . lol )

And I'm not sure you are referring to the right movie gents. Hurricane should associate with this one imo

If you deceide to shoot these rounds, be very careful and clean, clean, clean your rifle ....and then clean it again using a quality solvent after each and every shooting session.
These old rounds might have corrosive primers and WILL cause damage to your rifling over time if left unattended.
I can not stress this enough.
Get hold of a standard WWII well used rifle or handgun and you'll see what I mean, when you peek through the bore.
Sometimes its cosmetic, sometimes its worse, but its most often there if the rifle or handgun has been used in action and not relegated to barracks duty, where cleaning might have been more frequent.

Here is another link to a similar case http://www.jgsales.com/7.62x54r-comm....-p-53548.html

Most gun shops buy from the same importer, so they all get the same style container at the same time. The age of the ammo shouldn't be too much of a problem as these were sealed quite well. I've gone through a case of '52 and '46 and had only a handful of duds. As Scout said, got to make sure you clean them.

Noted, thanks! I have a pretty good routine for cleaning my rifles after shooting corrosive ammo... no problems as of yet, thankfully!

BTW some great movie references here!
The original Mad Max movie is great!!
Red Dawn is also a fine movie.
Powers Boothe is very underrated IMO.
Make sure to watch 'Emerald Forrest.'
A sleeper movie if there ever was one.
Hey, its by Boorman - cant go wrong with that!
I might be one of the few who regard 'Waterworld' for just what it is; a well made and entertaining action movie. No need to read more into it than that.
Seems most people absolutely hate it - not so I.
I mean, it wont ever make my top five, but I dont loathe it either like most people seem to.

I don't mind it either to be honest. My father loved it! lol

I'll probably end up seeing the Red Dawn remake... but I'm not very optimistic about it... :/

Yes, I saw there was a 2012 remake - EEEEEWW!

    'There Can Be Only One!'

Remakes of great movies always suck like an Electrolux!
What next? A remake of the fantastic 'La Femme Nikita' starring the fabulous Anne Parillaud in a sucky US version with the worlds most horrible skanky and talentless American actress? Wait.....what!?

I was a big fan of the original TV series of 'Nikita' with Peta Wilson-Section looked like such a fun place to work-as to 'Waterworld' it is a fun, large scale ride but could use a little editing for pace and length. As to a remake of 'Red Dawn', North Korea-really? They'd have trouble occupying Coney Island (although they are apparently fond of amusement rides). Having said that the original was a stretch as well-the Nicaraguan XXI Panzer Corps suddenly turns up in the US Mid West...
