I recently purchased a WW2 1942 German Mauser but it does not have the Waffen stamps on the stock. Was it common to find mausers [B]without the stock stamped with the eagle and swastika?
Are the guns with the stamp on the stock worth more?

I don't think they all had stamps. I picked one up from SOG and it didn't have any markings at all on the stock. the stock was in sorta bad shape so I had my brother pick one up from Sarko's in Jersey for me. It too didn't have any marks. Sometimes you can find where they have been sanded down.
I have to agree with Packin9, from what i have seen some have them and some don't.
I have one that does and one that doesn't.
