Friend bought a type 99 in 7.7 Jap back in 1972 as I recall. We picked up some 7.7 rounds from Norma as I recall and went out and touched of some rounds. Pretty stout kick. He also paid $50 dollars for it back then. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sam,

Could you post close ups of the way the sling attaches to your rifle? I tried to put one on mine yesterday and I had a hell of a time... The sling is now attached, but I'm almost positive that I fudged it.
