    I dont know for sure, but it reminds me of one for an AK47.

    I thought AK but I cant seem to find anything online that looks the same.

    Yeah it was just the tubular construction and knurled grip that made me think

    its got me stumped...the makers mark is a hammer and whats the other thing?

    Maybe Russian SKS? I will have to see if I can find mine when I get home.
    The chinese and russian ak kits if I remember right are smooth on the outside.
    But this looks like and early Russian SKS..

    i had a Russian and a Chinese SKS (before they became illegal here) im sure they were both smooth

    It is a rectum cleaner for post artillery, rocket and mortar round bombardment.
