Spedini - phenomenal Webley collection, if those could talk what adventures in the British Empire they would tell - any unit markings, inscriptions, have you done the Webley serial number check with that couple that have the Webley sales logs?

Thanks for the comments on the WW trailer -
AZPhil - The FG42 is a Jap replica, sorry, cannot afford a real one, I did handle one in Canada, a war trophy, but couldn't convince the owner to sell - the owner was the Officer's mess of the BC Regiment, and they are the rightful heirs, but, I had to try, lol.

This is a weird one, too.
An MG15 all covered in waffen eagles and factory numbers, but then fitted with what some say is a post-war water cooling system.
Some say it was modified during the war to facilitate the need for ground weapons, and the fact there was no airforce left to use the air-cooled MG15's in their intended position - shooting out of the side of an aeroplane - but no one has photographic evidence of a water cooled MG15 being used during the war, in a ground crew position, so the jury is out - I personally think they were never used and simply dug out of storage in Eastern Europe.
The one pictured has a 75 co-axel drum magazine, that requires a special loader - the one pictured will not chamber a live round.

It is so cool looking I suspect it will work in a few movies, lol!

How about this Maxim from my collection.

I brought on the basis that it had an unusual fitting next to the hand grips. I only found out its use after posting on another Forum. Rebuilt by the Russians with a later sight, but probably unique in private hands.
