    This is my Baker Rifle,
It is alas only a copy but from one of my favourite TV Dramas Sharpe.
This particular piece has been Browned and shows twisting as did the origional as it was fitted with a Damascus Barrel.
It sparks superbly and until I become a rich man and can afford a real Baker Rifle this will fill the gap.
Anyone out there have a baker Rifle Bayonet for sale please let me know.

    Regards

    Jim

Great piece. The 'Sharpe' series is one of my favourite shows as well.
Both copies you've shown are extremely well made.........

Really nicely aged, great for the collection - they almost have an original patina going for them.

There's forty shillings on the drum,
To those who volunteer to come,
To 'list and fight the foe today.
Over the Hills and far away.

Brilliant series, really great piece you have there too.

Excellent movie 'prop' piece-where was it made? A great deal of craftmanship on display there...

I believe most replica flintlock and percussion firearms are made
in either India, Italy or Japan. Maker ID should be engraved
    or stamped near the breech.........?

I will try and see if there is a mark on it when I get home.

Is it a 'shootable' copy - or one of the inert copies? Still a nice rifle whatever it is!
