berrata is the best pistol in world and I prefer berrata to pthers pistol.
Colt .45s and Browning Hi-Powers are better. Not trying to start a fight. ,45s are starting to be reissued to G.Is last I heard--also M-14s and other weapons.

Id take any of JM Brownings designs, we had a old 1967 dated Mk2 Browning Hi-Power that we dropped in a can of salt water for a week, then buried it in sand for a week before throwing 200 rounds down the barrel. Needless to say, it didn't fail, and as it was a L9 it had a thick covering of suchorite which the salt didn't touch, we did have to put new springs and a barrel on it before we could reissue it though.

Although I like ANY pistol, revolver, gun, "shootin' arn", gat,

Both the Colt and Browning are proven weapons with a lot going for both, that we all know. But IMO, if you were carrying and in a tight spot, the Colt holds 7 rounds but the HP has 13, that could make the difference.

True that, Ned...but the 7 that the Colt holds are 45 sledgehammers....as opposed to the 13 speedy little 38's...

I am a Colt 1911 man also. Smooth weapon with a powerful punch. Beretta is a boat anchor or expensive paper weight.
