These are the first of the delivery.

There is a secret clue to the make of firearm these are intended for, in the picture.

Guess correctly and you get a free ride on my new camera dolly system - see below.

New current spec hi-tech camera dolly system - with swinging "crane" arm at rear.

C'mon relicz, you guessed 5 different guns!
well one of them is it, so you get the ride on the camera dolly, lol.
It's at Fort MacArthur museum, and doesn't really move.
But you'll enjoy the museum if you go.

Built when Los Angeles was in danger of a sea invasion, and manned and updated right up to the Cuban missile crisis.
The guns that were fitted in 1912 are still there and just huge!

If it makes you feel better, they have guessed a half dozen guns over at Calguns and not got it right yet.

No one see the secret clue?

    Pit.

Do you mean the toy MG gunner with the Maxim?

I'm guessing that as its 7.62mm, its either a 1917A1 or a South African Vickers gun. I'm assuming that a MG08 and a Russian Maxim would run on the still plentiful???? original calibre.

Or im well off and its to put through that Bofors gun.

Here is my new Midwest Metal Creations Russian M1910 Maxim.
The accessories have not arrived yet - the pallet freight weight is over 100lbs -

I intend to shoot this until it's puffing steam like Thomas the tank engine!

    Pit.
There is a toy soldier shooting it in the picture - this is 7.62X54mm so ammo is plentiful.
Although this will likely shoot more blank than live ammo.

    Hi Pit,

I like the picture of the Bofor's and the Maxim. My uncle served on the Bofor's 40mm during the war. And I was a 1st-class layer on the LA40/70 Bofor's, the post-war version of it. We used to have Hawker Sea Fury's towing the target for us at Todendorf back in 1969-71.
