My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
"Don't tell me these are investments if you never intend to sell anything" (Quote: Wife)
Now that is nice and one I have not seen lately. Wish I had a few more to show off myself but for now the 98k I posted earlier will have to suffice.
Pat : Regrettably not. Being UK-based it will cock, dry fire and partially strip. After April 8th a new EU law is supposed to come in which will mean that any such weapon will have to be completely welded up before resale. Owners of 'old-spec' weapons like mine can keep them as they are but, upon resale, they'll need further butchery. Several Gun Dealers I've spoken to recently don't think the Law will go through in its presently proposed form but who is to say? I couldn't afford to take the risk and bought this anyway.

Martin,
Congratulations, and a good choice made. I sincerely hope that the law does not pass. I could go on about how ridiculous legislation like that is, and how it does not and will not affect criminals access to weapons, but this sub-forum is of course for the enjoyment of period firearms, not current events!
All the Best,
Pat
Martin,
That's an absolute peach.
Jonathan.
