I don't think the magazine is included, and i am buying it deactivated.

Why not get yourself a gun chambered for something on the obsolete calibre list, then it does not have to be deactivated. Then you will have a working gun rather than a used to be a gun. You will find pleanty for sale in the US if you search for them.

To buy a non-deactivated gun in this country, you have to be a member of a pistol club for 3 months or and a licence costs about 145 $.
