Would anyone have an idea what this is? what army? era?
Is this rare? what should I do if I am offered one?
Thanks,

It looks a bit like a ROKS series Soviet flamethrower, but the selector is in English F / S. The butt is very AK-47ish too, strange little thing, but cool!
Looks crude. Intriguing piece none the less.
Found this pic of a Soviet soldier, WW2.
Thanks.
So this is a Soviet piece?
Is it rare? a collectors item?
Strange looking device. Where was the item in the OP located?
The flame thrower.
Invented by someone who thought:
'I would really like to set fire to that thing over there. But I can't be bothered to walk.'
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
What a weird weapon...
Here's a linky to one that Dimas posted a couple of years back.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
